Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced GRC & IT Audit Trainer to deliver a 6-week, instructor-led, hands-on training and placement program. The trainer will prepare candidates for skilled roles in Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), IT Audit, Enterprise Risk Management, Cybersecurity Governance, and Information Security.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of GRC frameworks, IT General Controls (ITGC), audit methodologies, risk assessment, compliance management, and control testing, along with the ability to deliver practical sessions, guide project work, and prepare candidates for technical interviews.

Key Responsibilities

· Deliver structured training sessions covering GRC, IT Audit, Enterprise Risk Management, and Cybersecurity Governance.

· Teach IT General Controls (ITGC), SOX IT Controls, access management, change management, and IT operations controls.

· Provide practical training on NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, SOC 1/SOC 2, PCI DSS, and HIPAA compliance.

· Train candidates in risk assessments, risk registers, risk treatment, risk and control matrices (RCMs), and control testing.

· Guide students through audit planning, walkthroughs, evidence collection, audit documentation, control deficiencies, root-cause analysis, and remediation planning.

· Cover third-party risk management, vendor security assessments, compliance monitoring, and GRC workflows.

· Teach advanced Excel and Power BI for risk analytics, dashboards, KRIs, and executive reporting.

· Introduce continuous controls monitoring, workflow automation, and AI-assisted GRC and IT Audit processes.

· Guide students through practical assignments, industry-based case studies, and hands-on projects.





· Lead students through a final capstone project covering enterprise risk assessment, ITGC testing, compliance mapping, and audit reporting.

· Prepare candidates for technical interviews, assessments, resume optimization, and job applications.

· Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support placement readiness.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Practical experience in GRC, IT Audit, Information Security, Risk Management, or Compliance.

· Strong understanding of ITGC, SOX IT Controls, internal controls, audit methodologies, and control remediation.

· Working knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 1/SOC 2, PCI DSS, and HIPAA requirements.

· Experience with risk assessments, risk registers, RCMs, audit workpapers, and compliance documentation.

· Knowledge of third-party risk management, vendor assessments, vulnerability management, and continuous monitoring.

· Proficiency in Excel and Power BI for risk analytics and reporting.

· Strong communication, presentation, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to explain complex technical concepts using practical examples and exercises.

· Prior experience in corporate training, mentoring, consulting, or professional GRC and IT Audit engagements is preferred.

Engagement Details

· Remote freelance engagement.

· Monday to Friday, 7:00 PM–4:00 AM.

· Saturday and Sunday off.

· Compensation: ₹8,000–₹10,000 per student.
