Job Title: Freelance- Graphic Designer

Employment Type: Independent Contractor / Freelance

Experienced Required: 2-5 years

Qualification Required: A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent self-taught commercial experience backed by a strong portfolio).

You will be working with clients and stakeholders to understand the desired output from a design project, and getting ideas out in a workable manner. Usually achieved with the help of creating design briefs, understanding required deliverables, and then creating them. You will be Designing brand and communication collateral across digital and print mediums.

This can include logos, brand identities, business cards, brochures, presentations, brochures, books, book covers etc. Pitching ideas to bring client projects to life. Revising design ideas and solutions to fit a client’s budget and project limitations.

Creating designs by hand, drawing, painting, or using computer software. Often a combination of 2 approaches. Working within brand guidelines and design systems for a project to deliver creative work that’s aligned with the brand you will be working as a team on a larger project, understanding project-specific individual responsibilities, while contributing to the team by suggesting creative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design Execution: Create digital and print assets, including social media graphics, logos, brand identities, brochures, packaging, and web/mobile visuals.





· Brief Interpretation: Review creative briefs—ranging from detailed guidelines to minimal references—and ask clarifying questions before starting production.

· Brand Alignment: Work strictly within established brand guidelines, typography rules, and color palettes.

· Revisions & Handoff: Incorporate client or stakeholder feedback and deliver production-ready files in required formats (e.g., vector, print-ready PDF, web-optimized assets).

· Self-Management: Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, meet strict deadlines, and handle self-billing or scope tracking.

Required Skills & Software:

· Design Software: Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with modern tools like Figma, Filmora or Canva.

· Core Design Principles: Solid command of visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, and layout composition.

· Communication & Soft Skills: Ability to pitch ideas, explain design choices, take constructive feedback, and manage expectations.

· Portfolio: A verified collection of past projects showcasing versatility across digital and print design.

*Note: Creative ability to overcome design challenges and deliver effective solutions. Should have Awareness of industry trends and the ability to integrate them into projects and have proven experience for freelancing projects.

Pay: ₹250.00 - ₹500.00 per hour
