Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Gold Valuer role based in Mysore.

The Gold

Valuer will be responsible for assessing and appraising gold jewelry and ornaments submitted for loan purposes, ensuring accurate valuation in line with company guidelines and market standards. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting gold items for purity and weight, verifying authenticity, maintaining detailed valuation records, and supporting branch staff in loan processing decisions. The role involves interacting with customers to explain valuation outcomes, adhering to risk and compliance norms,



and safeguarding gold assets during the valuation and storage process.

The Gold

Valuer will collaborate closely with branch operations and credit teams to ensure timely, reliable, and compliant gold loan services.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Real Estate Appraisal and Valuation, or equivalent experience in asset appraisal and valuation of precious metals.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact clearly and respectfully with customers and branch teams.
- Candidates should possess experience relevant to Estate Agents or similar roles involving asset assessment, documentation, and field-level customer interaction.
- Candidates should have knowledge of gold purity testing methods, market pricing, and industry-standard valuation tools and techniques.
- Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, integrity, and adherence to risk, security, and regulatory compliance procedures.
- Candidates should ideally have prior experience in gold loans, banking, NBFC operations, or a related financial services environment.
- Candidates should have a minimum of a high school diploma; a certificate or diploma in jewelry/gold appraisal or related field is an added advantage.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in office at branch locations, maintaining accurate records, and using basic computer applications for data entry.
