Role Title- Genome Analyst

Role Summary

- Analysis and detailed interpretation of genomic data of NGS/Sanger sequencing of clinical cases
- Identification and annotating the variants with their potential functional significance, knowledge of relevant therapies, literature review and writing detailed reports
- Knowledge of cancer genomics and reproductive genomics
- Knowledge of current and new softwares for analysis of genomic data
- Designing primers
- Maintaining TAT for the assigned test reports

Working with-Sr. Genome Analyst What the role entails Key accountabilities/ responsibilities

- Genomic Data Interpretation: Analyze and interpret genomic data from NGS and Sanger sequencing, ensuring accurate insights for clinical casework.
- Variant Annotation & Reporting: Identify, annotate, and interpret genetic variants with functional significance; compile detailed clinical reports supported by literature and relevant therapeutic information.




- Domain Expertise: Apply sound knowledge in cancer genomics and reproductive genomics for case analysis and result interpretation.
- Bioinformatics Tools & Software: Utilize current and emerging software tools for productive and accurate genomic data analysis.
- Primer Design: Design primers for molecular assays with precision and adherence to test protocols.
- TAT Compliance: Ensure timely delivery of test reports by maintaining turnaround time (TAT) standards for all assigned cases.

Requirement Education

Essential- Post Graduate Certificate Course in Medical and Genetic Counselling /MSC in Biotechnology

Experience- 4 to 6 Years
