Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced General Manager – Projects & Services to lead end-to-end project execution, service operations and engineering teams. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Industrial Automation and Instrumentation, particularly in Oil & Gas, Refineries, Power, Petrochemical and Process Industries.

The role involves ensuring timely project delivery, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, cost optimization and effective team management.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage end-to-end project execution and service operations, ensuring timely delivery within approved budgets and quality standards.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, manpower deployment and cost control.
- Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and breakdown services.
- Manage Project Engineers, Service Engineers and Site Teams to ensure effective execution and productivity.
- Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Engineering, Accounts and other departments for smooth project operations.
- Handle customer relationships, technical discussions, project reviews and critical escalations.
- Manage vendors, subcontractors and consultants to ensure timely material availability and project completion.




- Monitor Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), after-sales support and service performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality procedures and contractual requirements.
- Prepare and review project MIS, service reports, budgets and operational performance updates.
- Drive improvements in project profitability, service revenue, resource utilization and customer satisfaction.
- Travel to project and customer sites as required.

Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 12+ years of relevant experience in Project Management, Service Operations, Engineering or Industrial Projects.
- Strong technical background in Industrial Automation and Instrumentation, including installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Refineries, Power Plants, Petrochemicals, Process Industries or EPC projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, service operations, budgets and engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of project planning, resource management, vendor coordination and cost optimization.
- Experience in customer management, technical escalations, site operations and service delivery.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate ProfileCandidates with experience in Industrial Automation, Instrumentation, EPC, Oil & Gas, Refinery, Power, Process Industries and Environmental Monitoring projects will be preferred.
