Job Summary

Lamba Group is looking for an experienced General Manager Accounts to oversee financial operations, accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, and financial reporting across multiple locations. The candidate will be responsible for finalisation of accounts, preparation and review of balance sheets and financial statements, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and effective internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, banking, and reconciliations.
- Ensure preparation, review, and finalisation of books of accounts, balance sheets, Profit & Loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage GST, TDS, income tax, statutory filings, and related reconciliations.
- Lead internal and external audits and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare and analyse monthly MIS, budgets, cash flow, profitability, and location-wise financial reports.
- Monitor working capital, outstanding payments, expenses, and financial performance across locations.
- Conduct periodic visits to company locations to review accounts, verify financial records, identify discrepancies, and ensure compliance with internal controls.




- Lead and supervise the accounts team, coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and senior management.
- Drive process improvements and effective utilisation of ERP/accounting software.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance; CA / CMA / M.Com preferred.
- 10-12+ years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in automobile dealerships or multi-location businesses.
- Strong expertise in balance sheet finalisation, financial statements, taxation, statutory compliance, and audit management.
- Experience in budgeting, MIS reporting, financial analysis, and team management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
- Solid analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to different company locations for financial reviews and operational audits.

Preferred Experience: Automobile dealership accounting, OEM reconciliations, inventory accounting, vehicle financing, and workshop financial operations. Key Requirement: The role requires hands-on involvement in accounts finalisation and balance sheet preparation, along with periodic visits to company locations for financial reviews and compliance monitoring.
