Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented General Insurance Sales Executive to promote and sell general insurance products to individual and corporate customers. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, building customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and providing suitable insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Sell general insurance products, including motor, health, travel, property, and commercial insurance.
- Generate leads through cold calling, referrals, networking, and other sales channels.
- Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable insurance policies.
- Explain policy features, coverage, premiums, exclusions, and claim procedures.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Follow up with prospects and convert leads into business.
- Coordinate with the operations and underwriting teams for policy issuance and renewals.
- Assist customers with policy renewals and basic claim-related queries.
- Maintain accurate customer information, sales records, and lead reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable insurance regulations and company policies.





Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline; preferred.
- 1–5 years of experience in insurance sales, BFSI sales, or financial product sales.
- Knowledge of general insurance products and policy terms.
- Solid communication, negotiation, and convincing skills.
- Ability to generate leads and achieve sales targets.
- Customer relationship management and follow-up skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with CRM tools.
- Insurance sales certification or relevant authorization, where applicable.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in selling motor, health, commercial, or other general insurance products.
- Experience in direct sales, agency sales, broker sales, or bancassurance.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-focused.
