Maverick Drones and Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is an Indian drone technology company focused on the design, development, manufacturing, integration, and deployment of unmanned aerial systems for defense, aerospace, industrial, infrastructure, and commercial applications. As we continue to expand our business and strengthen our presence in the drone and defense technology ecosystem, we are looking for a driven professional to support our investor relations and fundraising initiatives.

The Role

We are looking for a Fundraising & Investor Relations Associate who can identify relevant investors, establish meaningful connections, initiate conversations, and secure qualified meetings with potential investment partners. The individual will work directly with the CEO and take ownership of the investor outreach process, enabling the leadership team to focus on strategic discussions and investment opportunities.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands how investment networks work and is confident in engaging with venture capital funds, family offices, private investment firms, HNIs, UHNIs, and strategic investors.

Key ResponsibilitiesInvestor identification and research

● Identify and build a pipeline of venture capital funds, family offices, private investment firms, HNIs, UHNIs, and strategic investors.

● Research investors specializing in defense, aerospace, drones, robotics, deep tech, advanced manufacturing, and dual-use technologies.

● Identify relevant fund managers, partners, investment directors, and other decision-makers.

● Assess investor mandates, investment preferences, sector focus, and portfolio fit.

Investor outreach and networking

● Proactively approach investors through skilled email, LinkedIn, telephone, industry networks, and referrals.

● Introduce Maverick Drones and communicate its business proposition using approved investor materials.

● Build and maintain a pipeline of potential investors and develop long-term professional relationships.





● Follow up consistently and convert initial outreach into meaningful investor conversations and meetings.

Fundraising execution

● Schedule and coordinate investor meetings directly with the CEO.

● Manage investor communication from initial outreach through follow-ups, meetings, and subsequent discussions.

● Maintain an organized investor database and track interactions, responses, and next steps.

● Coordinate investor information requests and due-diligence activities with internal teams.

● Provide regular updates on investor engagement, pipeline progress, and upcoming meetings.

Investor relations and transaction support

● Assist in preparing pitch decks, company profiles, investor presentations, and supporting financial information.

● Conduct preliminary industry, market, and comparable-company research where required.

● Coordinate with external advisers, investment bankers, and other fundraising intermediaries.

● Identify relevant networking events, investment forums, and strategic opportunities to expand the company's investor network.

Who We’re Looking For

Practical investment exposure matters more than academic credentials.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have practical exposure to investment banking, venture capital, private equity, startup fundraising, investor relations, or financial advisory.

Preferred qualifications and experience

● Approximately 1–4 years of relevant professional experience.

● Demonstrated exposure to investor outreach, fundraising, deal sourcing, investment research, or financial advisory.

● Candidates with established professional networks among investors or investment professionals will have an advantage.

● An MBA in Finance, CFA qualification,



or other relevant financial qualification is desirable but not mandatory.

● Strong candidates with a bachelor's degree and relevant practical experience are encouraged to apply.

Essential skills

● Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building abilities.

● Confidence in approaching senior professionals, fund managers, and investment decision-makers.

● Strong professional email writing, presentation, and follow-up skills.

● Ability to research investors and identify suitable investment opportunities.

● Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, LinkedIn, and investor research tools.

● Basic understanding of corporate finance, equity investments, valuation, and fundraising processes.

● A proactive, persistent, and results-oriented approach to work.

What Matters Most in This Role?

We are not looking for someone whose primary strength is financial modelling or reporting alone. We want someone who can find the right investors, reach the right decision-makers, initiate conversations, build relationships, and get qualified meetings scheduled with the CEO.

Candidates who can demonstrate real investor access, networking ability, and fundraising execution skills will be given preference over candidates who possess academic qualifications without relevant practical exposure.

Compensation and Incentives

● Fixed annual compensation: ₹6–7.2 LPA.

● Performance incentive: Highly attractive, success-linked incentives upon successful completion of investment transactions.

● Location: Kolkata, West Bengal.

● Employment type: Full-time.

● Reporting to: CEO.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
