Job Overview

ABM Hospital is hiring a skilled, empathetic, and attentive Hospital Front Desk Receptionist to handle patient registration, OPD appointments, billing inquiries, and front-office desk coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet arriving patients and their families, manage daily OPD consultation tokens, and direct them to doctor cabins.
- Collect and enter patient demographic and insurance/billing details accurately into the hospital management system (HMS).
- Answer incoming calls, address service inquiries, and schedule appointments for various clinical departments (General Medicine, Gynec/OBG, Diagnostics).
- Coordinate patient flow between the front desk, nursing stations, pharmacy, and diagnostic/ultrasound rooms.
- Manage outpatient billing receipts, cash/UPI collections, and day-end shift register handovers.




- Guide walk-in patients during daytime emergencies and alert duty medical officers promptly.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

- Qualification: Any Graduate (Any stream) or Intermediate (10+2) with prior healthcare front-desk experience.
- Experience: 6 months to 2 years in a hospital, clinic, or diagnostic center reception (Freshers with strong communication and computer skills are eligible).
- Skills:
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel, typing speed, and hospital billing software/HMS).
- Empathetic patient-handling demeanor and the ability to maintain composure during crowded peak hours.
- Good spoken command of Telugu, Hindi/Urdu, and basic English.
- Availability: Willing to work in structured day/rotational shifts.
