Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Firmware Architect role with RADAR knowledge, based in Bengaluru South.

The Firmware

Architect will define and design firmware architecture for RADAR-based systems, ensuring robust, scalable, and maintainable embedded software solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with hardware, systems, and algorithm teams to translate RADAR system requirements into firmware specifications, designing and reviewing low-level software modules, and guiding implementation across platforms based on ARM or similar architectures.



The role involves hands-on development, debugging, and optimization of embedded firmware, as well as mentoring engineering teams, reviewing code and design documents, and ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and quality standards.

The Firmware

Architect will also contribute to technical roadmaps, evaluate recent technologies, and support integration, validation, and field issue resolution for RADAR products.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in embedded software and firmware development, including architecture definition and low-level design for complex systems.
- Hands-on experience with Software Development and debugging in C.
- Practical experience with Embedded Software and ARM Architecture, including boot loaders, device drivers, and board support packages.
- Deep understanding of RADAR systems, signal processing concepts, and integration of RADAR algorithms into embedded platforms.
- 15+ years of relevant industry experience in embedded systems, firmware architecture, or related semiconductor/automotive domains.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams, conduct design and code reviews, and drive best practices in software quality and documentation.
- Experience with version control, CI/CD pipelines for embedded projects, and tools for profiling, debugging, and hardware bring-up.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
