Role Description The Financial Controller role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune. The individual in this role will oversee the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing financial reporting cycles, monitoring budgets and forecasts, supporting audits, and maintaining robust internal controls.

The Financial

Controller will collaborate with finance, operations, and leadership teams to provide insights on performance, support decision-making, and drive process improvements.



The role also involves supervising or guiding accounting staff, reviewing reconciliations, and ensuring timely month-end and year-end closes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Accounting and Financial Statements skills, with experience in maintaining ledgers and preparing statutory accounts.
- Candidates should possess solid Finance and Financial Reporting skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with reporting standards.
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce; CA, CPA, or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in financial ERP systems and MS Excel, along with attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in an on-site environment.
- Prior experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role, ideally within a corporate or skilled services setting.
