Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced and proactive Financial Analyst with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and/or General Ledger (GL) accounting. The ideal candidate must possess robust accounting knowledge, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proven stakeholder management experience. The candidate should be capable of independently managing accounting activities, building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, resolving escalations, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial operations.

We are specifically looking for an accounting professional who is self-motivated, takes ownership of responsibilities, demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities, and can work effectively with minimal supervision in a fast-paced business environment.

Qualification

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
- Minimum 8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of US/UK GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP preferred) and advance MS- Excel skills
- Strong hands-on expertise in AR, AP, and/or GL.
- Proven stakeholder management and escalation-handling experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated accountability, self-motivation, initiative, and end-to-end ownership.

Key Skills and Responsibilities

1. Finance and Accounting Expertise

- Strong hands-on experience in AR, AP, and/or GL accounting.
- Expertise in Intercompany account reconciliations, financial reporting, journal entries, and month-end closing activities.
- Ability to investigate discrepancies, resolve accounting issues, and ensure financial accuracy.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent platforms.

Stakeholder Management

- Proven experience managing stakeholders across finance, operations, business teams, and external customers or vendors.
- Ability to independently handle stakeholder queries, escalations, and complex accounting issues.
- Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills to ensure smooth execution of finance operations.
- Ability to communicate financial information, issues, risks, and resolutions clearly to stakeholders.
- Proactively follow up on pending actions, drive issue resolution, and ensure adherence to agreed timelines and service-level agreements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and align stakeholders toward common business objectives.
- Experience working with international stakeholders and cross-functional teams is preferred.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with stakeholders at different organizational levels.
- Strong presentation, email communication, and business interaction skills.
- Ability to explain financial discrepancies and accounting issues clearly and concisely.
