Role Summary:

The Accounts & Finance Executive will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, managing budgets, and contributing to financial strategy in a rapid-paced trading environment.

This role involves close collaboration with various departments to ensure financial health and compliance with regulations. We're looking for someone who is comfortable with numbers, careful with detail, and practical about using AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT to work faster and more accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Operations & MIS:

- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, procurement, expense reimbursements,



and general ledger.
- Maintain and improve financial systems, policies, and procedures to ensure efficiencyand compliance.
- Collect, process and consolidate data from multiple teams and systems into accurate MIS reports and Excel dashboards, highlighting trends and variances.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Develop, implement, and manage the budget process, with monthly and annual tracking.
- Prepare forecasts and support month-end and year-end closing.
- Monitor and report on budget variances and recommend corrective actions.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

- Generate analytical reports on financial performance, including profitability, cost allocation and margin analysis.
- Provide insights into revenue, trading volumes, costs and financial trends.
- Present financial data to senior management and stakeholders to inform strategic decisions.

Compliance and Risk Management:

- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, accounting standards and internal policies.
- Maintain records for statutory and internal audits, and provide data for TDS and GST compliance.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing controls where necessary.

Strategic Planning and Support:

- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals.
- Support strategic business initiatives with financial planning and analysis.
- Improve processes and reporting templates for better data flows and higher efficiency and accuracy.

Education and Experience:





- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree or PGDM Finance is a plus).
- 1 to 3 years of experience in accounts, finance operations or MIS reporting.
- Working knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
- Experience with tools like Tally is preferred (but not necessary).
- Exposure to trading, broking or capital markets is a plus.

Skills and Competencies:

- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Advanced Excel).
- Excellent problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to spot trends, variances and anomalies.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and take ownership of deliverables.
- Satisfactory fluency in AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT.
