Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Finance & Accounts Manager to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, statutory compliance, and team management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Zoho Books, robust accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable functions while ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting and Finance Operations

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations using Zoho Books.
- Monitor billing, revenue accounting, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP).
- Review payment processing, authorization controls, and bank reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.

Month-End Closing and Financial Reporting

- Coordinate month-end closing activities with the Finance and Accounts team.
- Prepare and review Profit & Loss statements and management reports.
- Conduct financial analysis and Budget vs. Actual variance analysis.
- Review costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization and financial efficiency.

Budgeting and Business Planning

- Support the Head of Finance and Accounts in Annual Operating Plan (AOP) preparation and budgeting.
- Assist with financial projections, budget assumptions, and business planning.
- Monitor budget performance and report significant variances.

Taxation and Statutory Compliance

- Ensure timely GST and TDS compliance, including applicable return filings and payments.
- Coordinate GST returns, annual returns, and other applicable statutory requirements.




- Monitor regulatory requirements and resolve tax-related matters within prescribed timelines.

Audit and Compliance

- Coordinate with statutory auditors for timely completion of audits.
- Prepare and review audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents.
- Respond to audit queries and ensure timely closure of audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.

Team Management

- Lead and supervise Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable teams.
- Monitor team performance and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Maintain accounting procedures, internal controls, and review mechanisms.
- Support team development and effective coordination across finance functions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Zoho Books.
- Experience in billing, revenue accounting, AR, and AP.
- Knowledge of bank reconciliation and cash flow monitoring.
- Practical knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Understanding of the Companies Act and applicable Accounting Standards.
- Experience in month-end closing, P&L; statements, and management reporting.
- Knowledge of AOP, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Experience in statutory audit coordination.
- Team handling and supervisory skills.
- Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
