Role Description The Field Application Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role involves providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers, including understanding application requirements, selecting suitable solutions, and demonstrating products and toolchains. The engineer will collaborate with the sales team to prepare technical proposals, perform product evaluations, and conduct presentations and trainings for client engineering teams.





Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, supporting design-in activities, and maintaining strong relationships with customers across industries such as embedded systems, electronics, and multi-physics applications. The role also includes documenting application notes, feedback, and best practices to support product improvement and customer success.

Qualifications

- Field Applications and Technical Support skills to assist customers in solution selection, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Sales and customer-facing skills to collaborate with sales teams, deliver technical presentations, and support business growth.
- Analog and Electronics knowledge to understand circuit design, embedded systems, and related hardware applications.
- Robust problem-solving and analytical abilities, with attention to detail in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related technical discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site with customers, manage multiple projects, and travel as required within the region.
- Experience with embedded toolchains, PCB design tools, simulation software, or multi-physics platforms is an advantage.
