1. Ability to create visually engaging and age-appropriate graphs design for girls clothing and accessories on CAD using Photoshop or Coral Draw.
2. Excellent sketching skills, computer skills like paint, coral draw, etc.
3. Strong ability to create samples of approved sketches.
4. Draw and print charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork using computer skills.
5. Understand the market skills by detailed study of latest trends, forecasts, competitor product analysis, prevailing prices, distributors input, retailer’s input and customer feedbacks.
6. Closely monitor and stay attuned to the up to date fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors and shapes emerging
7. Ensure designs meet brand identity and resonate with the target audience. Adapt designs from various mediums, including apparel, accessories, and packaging.
8. Keep a check on current vendors for accessories, trims, metal fittings and fabrics for the next season and for current season flash collection.
9. Develop sample garments to avoid errors and plan product ranges in conjunction with the buyer, analysts, stores, suppliers and distributors.
10. Co-ordinate with sampling, printing, washing,



embroidery finishing department for efficient flow of sampling work.
11. Create designs, sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.
12. Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
13. Backward engineering of products and bringing the cost down.
14. Ability to think out of the box and suggest new ways to market products by preparing attractive posters, brochures, etc. Job Specifications:
