Role Description The Faculty Member will design and deliver engaging courses, conduct lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions, and support student learning through mentoring and academic advising. The role includes developing curricula, preparing teaching materials, assessing student performance, and maintaining high academic standards aligned with SRU’s interdisciplinary and industry-focused approach. Faculty are expected to participate in research activities, publish in reputable journals, secure research funding where possible, and collaborate with colleagues, industry partners,



and SRiX for projects and innovation initiatives.

Responsibilities also include contributing to departmental administration, accreditation processes, community outreach, and university events. This is a full-time, on-site role based at SR University’s campus in Warangal.

Qualifications

- Relevant postgraduate or doctoral degree (e.g., M.Tech, MBA, M.Sc, Ph.D) in a discipline aligned with SRU’s schools (Computer Science & AI, Engineering, Business, Sciences, Agriculture).
- Demonstrated expertise in teaching, curriculum design, and student assessment, with the ability to use modern pedagogical methods and educational technologies.
- Strong research profile or potential, including publications in peer-reviewed journals, conference presentations, and interest in pursuing funded research and innovation projects.
- Ability to collaborate with industry, incubators, and research centers, and to guide student projects, internships, and entrepreneurial initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusive, learner-centric, and gender-neutral educational practices.
- Experience supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students; prior experience guiding PhD scholars is an advantage.
- Willingness to contribute to institutional development, accreditation, quality assurance, and interdisciplinary academic activities.
- Prior teaching or postdoctoral experience at reputed institutions and familiarity with outcome-based education and contemporary assessment standards will be considered an asset.
