Internal Audit Executive
Department: Internal Audit
Location: Kolkata
Qualification: CA Inter (Intermediate)
Experience: 4 - 5 years in Internal Audit

Role Summary The role holder will be a key member of the Internal Audit team and will be responsible for conducting internal audits in line with the framework defined by the Audit function. Key responsibilities will include core audit activities, process improvement, with a specific focus on the purchase cycle, stores and internal controls across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Audit of the entire Procure to Pay.
Review of internal controls of various departments and reporting of control gaps.
Conduct stores and inventory audits, including verification of receipts, issues, stock records and physical inventory.
Review of monthly consumption vs. standard consumption of materials and its variances.
Execute the Internal Audit calendar in an appropriate manner and as per schedule.
Follow up on action taken on various issues and report the status of agreed action plans.
Support the risk assessment process and preparation of the risk-based internal audit plan.
Preparation of MIS and periodic reports for management.
Review Statutory Compliances applicable for the company
Perform Sample level transactions testing
Ensure quality of audit work and that professional standards are maintained at all times.
Use MS Excel and data-analysis tools for audit testing and identification of unusual trends or exceptions.
Candidate Profile
CA Inter with 4 - 5 years of relevant experience in internal audit / process audit / stock audit.
Working knowledge of internal audit, compliance, internal control and risk control concepts.
Skills in Microsoft Office, with strong MS Excel and data analysis capability.
Analytical ability and attention to detail.
Ability to work in teams and interact with multiple departments and business units.
Article ship with mid-tier accounting firm
Positive to Have
Knowledge of ERP systems and audit / data analytics tools.
