Key Responsibilities

· Teach Environmental Studies (EVS) according to the prescribed curriculum and students’ academic levels.

· Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, presentations, assignments, and assessments.

· Introduce students to topics related to the environment, nature, ecosystems, biodiversity, conservation, health, hygiene, and sustainability.

· Use activity-based learning, experiments, projects, demonstrations, and real-life examples to explain concepts.

· Encourage environmental awareness, responsible behaviour, and sustainable practices among students.

· Organise classroom activities, nature-based learning experiences, and environment-related projects.

· Assess students’ understanding through classwork, homework, quizzes, projects, and examinations.

· Provide individual support to students who require additional academic guidance.

· Maintain classroom discipline and create an inclusive and engaging learning workplace.

· Adapt teaching methods to suit different age groups and learning abilities.

· Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support students’ academic development.





· Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, assessments, attendance, and student progress.

· Participate in school events, exhibitions, environmental campaigns, and extracurricular activities.

Requirements

· Minimum 1+ year of teaching experience in a school.

· Prior school teaching experience is mandatory.

· Relevant educational qualification in Environmental Studies, Science, or a related subject is preferred.

· B.Ed. qualification will be an added advantage.

· Experience teaching under IB, IGCSE, CBSE, or ICSE curricula will be an added advantage.

· Good understanding of environmental concepts and age-appropriate teaching methodologies.

· Strong classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.

· Ability to make lessons interactive, practical, and student-centred.

· Passion for teaching and encouraging environmental responsibility among students.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
