Emin International Academy, part of Kuniya Group of Institutions, is looking for a qualified and enthusiastic EVS Teacher to teach Environmental Studies at the primary level. The ideal candidate has a good understanding of the CBSE curriculum and can make learning interesting and activity-based for young students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Environmental Studies (EVS) to primary classes as per the CBSE curriculum
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, activities and assessments
- Use activity-based and student-friendly teaching methods
- Maintain a positive, disciplined and well-managed classroom
- Assess student progress and keep academic records
- Communicate with parents about student progress
- Take part in school events, activities and meetings
Qualifications
- B.A. or B.Sc. with B.Ed. from a recognised university (required)
Experience
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school preferred
- Experience in teaching Environmental Studies (EVS) at the primary level
- Valuable knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and teaching methodologies
Skills
- Lesson planning and preparation of worksheets, activities and assessments
- Good classroom management
- Good communication skills
