Key Responsibilities

- Study customer enquiries, technical specifications, BOQs, and engineering drawings.

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, machining, fabrication, assembly, and other manufacturing activities.

- Calculate raw material requirements and prepare the Bill of Materials (BOM).

- Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors for materials, components, and services.

- Prepare cost comparison statements and evaluate supplier quotations.

- Estimate manufacturing, tooling, fabrication, installation, and transportation costs as applicable.

- Prepare techno-commercial quotations and cost breakdowns for customer submissions.

- Coordinate with design, production, purchase, and project teams to validate estimates.

- Analyze actual costs against estimated costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.

- Maintain costing sheets, estimation records, and quotation databases.

- Follow up with the sales team and customers regarding submitted quotations and technical clarifications.

- Support tender preparation, budgeting, and commercial negotiations.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of estimation and costing techniques.





- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

- Knowledge of material costing, labour costing, machining, and fabrication processes.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and cost-estimation tools.

- Experience in preparing BOMs, BOQs, and techno-commercial quotations.

- Positive analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

- Knowledge of ERP systems is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
