The ERP Program Lead will own the Foundation's move from Oracle PeopleSoft to its newly selected ERP platform, from planning through go-live and stabilization. This is a leadership role. You will run the program end to end across finance, HR, procurement, the University's student systems and other functions, working with internal teams, the implementation partner and the platform vendor.
What You'll Do
Program Leadership
- Lead the complete migration from PeopleSoft to the current ERP platform, including scope, roadmap, budget, timelines, and delivery strategy.
- Drive implementation across PeopleSoft HR, Finance, Procurement, and Campus Solutions (Student Information Systems).
- Build and manage a cross-functional program team comprising internal stakeholders, implementation partners, and vendor teams.
- Oversee all phases including design, configuration, testing, data migration, cutover, go-live, stabilization, and legacy system decommissioning.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Collaborate with leaders across Finance, HR, Procurement, Grants, Administration, and other functions to gather requirements and drive decision-making.
- Manage implementation partners and vendors against contractual commitments, milestones, SLAs, and deliverables.
- Ensure business requirements are effectively balanced with standard platform capabilities while minimizing customization.
Governance & Delivery Excellence
- Establish strong program governance through steering committees, design authorities, and change control mechanisms.
- Monitor risks, issues, dependencies, budgets,
and timelines while ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
- Define quality gates and readiness criteria for testing, user acceptance, and go-live.
Data, Integration & Compliance
- Own the data migration strategy, including data cleansing, mapping, validation, reconciliation, and archival.
- Lead integrations with critical enterprise systems such as Hospital Information Systems (HIS), HRMS, payroll, grants, banking, reporting platforms, and student/academic systems.
- Ensure robust security, compliance, audit controls, and access governance throughout the program.
Change Management & Adoption
- Drive organizational change management, stakeholder communication, training, and user adoption initiatives.
- Define and implement the post-go-live support and transition model for operational teams.
Technology & Innovation
- Leverage emerging technologies and AI tools to accelerate implementation activities such as testing, migration, analytics, and documentation.
- Advise leadership on the long-term ERP roadmap and opportunities for continuous improvement, automation, and innovation.
