Role Description

This is an internship for Environmental Consultant role based in Mumbai, structured as a hybrid position with a mix of on-site work and work from home.

The Environmental

Consultant will conduct environmental impact assessments for urban projects, analyze ecological data, and prepare clear, evidence-based reports and recommendations. Daily responsibilities include formulating practices around environmental compliance, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting the design of strategies to increase urban green cover and improve environmental performance.



The role also involves engaging with community stakeholders, contributing to proposals and presentations for public and private sector clients, and staying current with relevant environmental regulations and best practices. Occasional field visits, site assessments, and coordination with partners and vendors may be part of the work.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in Environmental Science and Environmental Impact Assessment to evaluate projects and inform sustainable urban solutions.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Environmental Compliance and Environmental Consulting to guide clients on regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Candidates should possess solid Report Writing skills to communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science, Environmental Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related discipline.
- Experience working on urban sustainability, green infrastructure, or forestry-related projects is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical, data interpretation, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and quality of work.
- This is an internship role based and will be mostly work from home with occasional travel required for client meetings.
- Comfort working in a hybrid setup, with the ability to manage time and responsibilities independently.
