Role Description The English Educator – Language and Literature: ICSE & IGCSE will design and deliver engaging English language and literature lessons aligned with ICSE and IGCSE curricula.

Responsibilities include planning units and daily lessons, facilitating interactive classroom activities, assessing student learning through assignments and examinations, and providing constructive feedback. The educator will support students’ reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills, while integrating innovative teaching methods and educational technology where appropriate. The role also involves participating in school events,



collaborating with colleagues on academic planning, and engaging with parents or guardians on student progress.

This is a full-time, on-site position based at The Galaxy Education System campus in Rajkot.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Teaching and Education, with proven experience in English Language and Literature for ICSE and/or IGCSE levels.
- Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning and Training skills to design structured, outcomes-focused learning experiences and support student development.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear classroom communication, feedback delivery, and collaboration with colleagues and families.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; formal teacher training or certification is an advantage.
- Experience with student-centric pedagogy, classroom management, and inclusive teaching practices; familiarity with ICSE and IGCSE curricula is highly beneficial.
- Ability to use educational technology, maintain accurate academic records, and contribute to co-curricular and school development initiatives.
