Role & responsibilities

- Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Perform scheduled servicing and rapid repairs on complex OSD machinery to minimize production downtime.

- Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic failures in equipment such as high-shear granulators and coating pans.

- Equipment Setup & Changeover: Execute precise machine setups and tooling changes between product batches to ensure consistent quality.

- Calibration: Ensure all process sensors, weighing scales, and monitoring instruments are calibrated according to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.

- Documentation: Maintain rigorous logs of all maintenance activities, ensuring "audit-ready" documentation that complies with FDA or local regulatory requirements.

- Process Optimization: Collaborate with engineers to improve machine yields, reduce waste, and enhance the longevity of specialized components like punch dies.

- Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict LOTO (Lockout-Tagout) procedures and maintain a sterile workplace to prevent cross-contamination.

- Spare Parts Management: Monitor inventory for critical wear-and-tear components to ensure immediate availability during breakdowns.
