Job Type: Full time

Experience Level: 1–4 Years

About Us

We are building next-generation smart connected devices and IoT safety infrastructure designed for real-world impact. Our product lineup ranges from public-grade smart hardware kiosks to consumer mobility safety solutions. We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Embedded Systems & IoT Hardware Engineer to help develop, prototype, and test electronic hardware and firmware for our connected product ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prototyping & Hardware Development System Integration: Connect and interface embedded Linux Single Board Computers (Raspberry Pi / x86 SBCs) with real-time microcontrollers (ESP32 / ARM Cortex-M4).

Power & Backup Systems: Wire and test hybrid power management circuits, including AC-to-DC converters, LiFePO4 battery backup modules, and supercapacitor reserve units. Actuators, Locks & Sensors: Build drive circuits for solenoid micro-locks, hall-effect position sensors, relay modules, and physical interrupt switches.

Peripherals & AV Setup: Set up high-brightness capacitive touchscreens, HD camera modules, microphones, and audio speaker grilles.

Cellular & GPS Setup: Configure LTE Cat-4 / 5G cellular modems with eSIM/SIM modules and GNSS GPS tracking over UART/AT commands.

2. General Embedded Systems & Firmware Engineering

PCB Design & Assembly: Design schematics and multi-layer PCB layouts using KiCAD or Altium, perform hand soldering, bench testing, and hardware bring-up.

Firmware Development: Write and debug firmware in C/C++ for microcontrollers (ESP-IDF, FreeRTOS, or bare-metal C) with hardware watchdogs and secure MQTT/TLS communication.

Testing & Debugging: Perform benchtop testing, debug hardware using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, and troubleshoot sensor or power delivery issues.

Fabrication Support: Assist in fitting electronics into custom sheet metal, polymer, or 3D-printed enclosures.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education: B.Tech in Electronics & Communication (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EEE), Instrumentation, or related field.

Core Technical Skills:

Microcontrollers & SBCs: ESP32, STM32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Linux SBCs.

Communication Protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, USB, MQTT.

Wireless Technologies: LTE/5G Cellular, eSIM, GNSS/GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth/BLE.

Power Electronics: Battery charging modules (Li-ion / LiFePO4), Buck/Boost converters, Supercapacitors.

Tools & Languages: KiCAD or Altium, Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, C/C++, Basic Python/Linux shell commands.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Basic understanding of WebRTC video/audio streaming on embedded Linux.

Experience working with solenoid locks, relays, or industrial sensor setups.

Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop prototyping and benchtop testing.

What We Offer

Hands-on experience building innovative IoT products from scratch.

A well-equipped hardware laboratory environment to build, test, and deploy prototypes.

Growth opportunities as our product line expands.
