Position Overview

Aruna Promoters Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled and reliable MEP Electrician to join our team in Cheranallur. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing low/medium-voltage electrical systems, fixtures, MEP control panels, and related building utilities. You will ensure all electrical installations meet quality, safety, and compliance standards across project sites and company-managed properties.

Key Responsibilities

1. Electrical & MEP Maintenance

- Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on electrical distribution boards (DBs), circuit breakers, lighting, switches, sockets, and wiring.
- Troubleshoot faults in electrical circuitry, MEP equipment, motors, pumps, and control panels to minimize downtime.
- Execute scheduled servicing of backup systems, including DG sets, UPS, inverters, and phase changers.

2. Installation & MEP Coordination

- Assist with the installation, conduit laying, cable pulling, wiring, and termination for new civil/commercial fit-outs and residential projects.
- Read and interpret MEP drawings, wiring schematics,



and electrical circuit diagrams.
- Coordinate with HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting teams to support integrated MEP installations and system testing.

3. Safety & Compliance

- Strictly follow site safety protocols, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and electrical safety standards.
- Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintain tools and testing gear in safe working order.
- Ensure all installations comply with the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) regulations and standard electrical codes.

4. Inventory & Documentation

- Track and log daily electrical maintenance tasks, site breakdown reports, and material usage.
- Keep inventory of electrical spares, cables, conduits, fixtures, and emergency replacements, raising requisitions in a timely manner.

Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Education / Certification: ITI (Electrician / Wireman)
- License: Valid Electrical Wireman license issued by the Kerala State Electricity Licensing Board (KSELB) is preferred.
- Experience: 1–2 years of practical experience as an electrician in building maintenance, construction sites, or MEP contracting projects.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
