– Electrical & Instrument Technician

Experience: 2–5 Years

Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering

Location: BSP (Bhilai Steel Plant)

Key Responsibilities

- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Handle electrical motors, control panels, switchgear, and power distribution systems.
- Install and maintain field instruments such as pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, flow meters, and level transmitters.
- Perform instrument calibration, loop checking, and continuity testing.
- Assist in cable laying, cable termination, glanding, and electrical wiring.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and instrumentation loop diagrams.
- Identify faults and ensure timely breakdown maintenance.




- Follow site safety procedures, PPE requirements, and permit-to-work systems.
- Coordinate with engineers and supervisors for project erection, testing, and commissioning activities.

Required Skills
- Practical knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Experience in thermal power plants, PSU projects, or industrial sites preferred.
- Knowledge of testing tools such as multimeters, clamp meters, and calibration instruments.
- Ability to work at project sites and follow safety standards.

Pay: ₹8,800.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
