Job Summary

Oltao is looking for an Electrical Engineer to manage product compliance, BIS certification, audits, technical documentation, and electrical safety testing. The candidate will ensure that products comply with applicable Indian Standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage electrical product compliance, BIS certification, renewals, and regulatory requirements.
- Handle BIS reporting, technical documentation, certification records, and compliance trackers.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, inspections, and corrective action plans.
- Plan and coordinate product testing to ensure electrical safety, quality, and performance.
- Review test reports, identify product non-conformities, and implement corrective measures.
- Coordinate with testing laboratories, certification agencies, and internal teams.




- Monitor changes in applicable standards and ensure timely compliance.
- Maintain audit readiness and ensure proper documentation of all compliance activities.

Requirements

- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- Knowledge of BIS certification, Indian Standards, and electrical product safety.
- Experience in audits, technical documentation, product testing, or regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and technical reporting.
- Solid analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience Experience in electrical product manufacturing, BIS certification, quality assurance, or regulatory compliance will be preferred.
