Position - Design Engineer - Electrical

Qualification - BE / BTech - Electrical Engineering

Experience - min. 3 years

-

1. Design support for HT, LT and ELVS systems including SLDs, layouts, BOQ, specifications, datasheets and construction drawings.
2. Calculations for transformer, DG, UPS, HT/LT panels, cables, cable tray, switchgear, earthing, lighting, power, voltage drop and load schedules.
3. Preparation of lighting, power, UPS, earthing, cable tray, cable schedule, DB/panel schedule and equipment power supply layouts.
4. ELVS design support for Fire Alarm, PA, CCTV, Access Control & Door Interlock, Data/Telephone and related schematics/BOQ.
5. Coordination with Revit/BIM Modeler, Projects, HVAC, Mechanical, Process, Civil and Instrumentation teams, vendors and site team for inputs, comment compliance and drawing revisions.

Technical Competencies -

1. Conversant with relevant IS / IEC / NBC / NFPA standards and electrical design practices.
2.



Knowledge of HT/LT distribution, transformers, DG sets, UPS, PCC/MCC/DB panels, earthing, lightning protection and ELVS systems.
3. Ability to prepare accurate calculations, BOQ, schedules, specifications and coordinated construction drawings.

Behavioral Competencies -

1. Follow company code of ethics and quality procedures.
2. Valuable written and verbal communication skills in English.
3. Able to take instructions from Chief Engineer / Lead Engineer and complete tasks within timelines.
4. Willing to learn, coordinate with team and handle high work volume when required.

Software Competencies -

1. MS Word

4. Revit / Plant 3D / PDMS / DIALux - added advantage
