Job Title: Electrical BIM Modeler

Experience: 5+ Years

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

Location: Chennai

We are looking for an experienced Electrical BIM Modeler to develop accurate 3D electrical models and drawings for building services and MEP projects. Candidates should have hands-on experience in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, electrical layouts, BIM coordination, and clash detection.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop 3D electrical BIM models using Revit MEP.
- Prepare lighting, power distribution, cable tray, conduit, and containment layouts.
- Create electrical shop drawings, sections, elevations, and installation drawings.
- Model lighting fixtures, distribution panels, cable trays, and electrical equipment.
- Perform clash detection and coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, and structural teams.
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Resolve design clashes and update models based on client comments.




- Ensure model accuracy, drawing quality, and timely project delivery.

Required Skills
- Robust hands-on experience in Revit MEP and AutoCAD .
- Knowledge of electrical BIM modeling and building-services systems.
- Experience in cable tray routing, lighting layouts, and power layouts.
- Familiarity with Navisworks for clash detection and BIM coordination.
- Understanding of electrical drawings and construction documentation.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in commercial buildings, residential towers, hospitals, hotels, or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of BIM standards, LOD requirements, and BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Experience working on international projects.
