Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced EHS Officer to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards at construction project sites. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety procedures, conducting inspections, identifying potential hazards, and promoting a safe working environment for all employees, contractors, and site personnel.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and safety standards at construction sites.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Monitor construction activities, including working at heights, excavation, scaffolding, lifting operations, and electrical safety.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training for workers and site staff.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to safe work practices.
- Prepare and maintain EHS documentation, including inspection reports,



incident reports, risk assessments, and safety checklists.
- Monitor contractor safety performance and ensure compliance with project-specific EHS requirements.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness drills, fire safety inspections, and first-aid arrangements.
- Identify unsafe acts and conditions and ensure timely corrective action.
- Monitor waste management, housekeeping, and environmental protection measures at project sites.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and client representatives on EHS-related matters.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of construction site safety and EHS procedures.
- Understanding of risk assessment, hazard identification, and incident investigation.
- Knowledge of work permits, PPE requirements, fire safety, and emergency response.
- Valuable documentation, reporting, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to conduct safety training and site inspections independently.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in construction projects, infrastructure projects, or PMC environments.
- Experience in high-rise buildings, commercial, residential, or industrial projects will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of applicable Indian safety legislation and environmental regulations.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
