Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and subject-oriented Senior Lecturer in Economics to teach Junior College students, deliver high-quality classroom instruction, strengthen conceptual understanding, and prepare students for academic examinations through effective teaching methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle Economics classes for Intermediate 1st and 2nd-year students.

- Explain complex economic concepts using practical examples and student-friendly teaching methods.

- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, notes, and practice questions.

- Conduct regular assessments, revisions, and examination-oriented practice sessions.

- Clarify students’ doubts and provide individual academic support wherever required.

- Monitor students’ academic performance and take necessary steps to improve learning outcomes.

- Analyse test results and provide appropriate feedback and remedial support.

- Guide students on important questions, answer-writing techniques, and examination preparation.





- Coordinate with the academic team to ensure syllabus completion and adherence to the academic schedule.

- Maintain academic standards and ensure effective delivery of the subject.

Eligibility Criteria

- Qualification: M.A. Economics / M.Com or an equivalent relevant postgraduate qualification.

- Experience: Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Economics at the Intermediate / Junior College level preferred.

- Strong command of Economics concepts and the Intermediate syllabus.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Proven ability to engage students and improve academic performance.

- Strong subject expertise and effective teaching techniques.

- Ability to explain complex topics clearly and systematically.

- Experience in examination-oriented teaching, assessments, and student mentoring.

- Valuable classroom management and time management skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
