Role Description The Duty Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Bay15 in Panaji, responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring high service standards across accommodation, restaurant, bar, and event areas. This role supervises front-of-house teams, coordinates with housekeeping, kitchen, and maintenance, and manages guest requests, check-ins, check-outs, and complaint resolution.

The Duty

Manager monitors staffing levels, shift schedules, and adherence to safety, hygiene, and quality procedures, while maintaining smooth coordination during events and peak business hours. The role includes managing cash and billing procedures,



preparing basic operational reports, and supporting senior management with implementing policies and service improvements.

Qualifications

- Strong hospitality operations skills, including front office supervision, guest relations, and coordination with housekeeping and F&B; teams.
- Proficiency in customer service and conflict resolution, with the ability to handle guest feedback and service recovery professionally.
- Team leadership and people management capabilities, including shift supervision, task delegation, and staff motivation.
- Basic administrative and organizational skills, including report preparation, inventory oversight, and adherence to SOPs.
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
- Prior experience in hotel, resort, or upscale restaurant operations in a supervisory or duty management role preferred.
- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field is beneficial.
- Awareness of safety, hygiene, and basic compliance standards relevant to hospitality environments.
