About the Role
PressureJet Systems Pvt. Ltd. is urgently looking for a Mechanical Draftsman to support the design and engineering of high-pressure pumps, pumping systems and associated mechanical equipment.
You will prepare accurate drawings for manufacturing and assembly, update bills of materials, and coordinate with shop-floor teams to resolve drawing-related queries.
What You Will Do
- Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings and equipment layouts.
- Create and modify 3D models of mechanical components and assemblies.
- Develop drawings from sketches, engineering inputs and approved reference models.
- Prepare drawings for pump components, base frames, guards, brackets and fabricated structures.
- Add dimensions, tolerances, material details, surface finish requirements and manufacturing notes.
- Prepare and maintain bills of materials.
- Coordinate with production, quality, purchase and assembly teams.
- Update drawings following approved engineering changes and maintain revision records.
- Take measurements of existing parts when required and prepare drawings for engineering verification.
- Check drawings for missing dimensions, errors and inconsistencies before approval.
What We Are Looking For
- ITI Draughtsman Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant mechanical drafting experience.
- Solid working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks
- Understanding of mechanical drawings, fits, tolerances and basic GD&T.;
- Familiarity with machining, fabrication and mechanical assembly.
- Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to meet drawing deadlines.
Preferred Background Experience in pump manufacturing, industrial machinery, hydraulic equipment, skid-mounted systems, machine tools or fabrication.
