Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Drafting & Detailing Engineer with experience in roofing systems and AutoCAD. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, roofing layouts, fabrication details, and installation drawings as per project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare roofing layouts, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop roof plans, elevations, sections, and connection details.
- Prepare drawings for metal roofing sheets, flashings, ridge caps, gutters, and related accessories.
- Interpret architectural and structural drawings to prepare accurate detailing.
- Coordinate with project, design, and execution teams to resolve drawing-related queries.
- Revise drawings based on site requirements and engineering feedback.




- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and approved standards.
- Maintain drawing records and ensure timely submission of drawings.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in drafting and detailing, preferably in roofing projects.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Practical knowledge of metal roofing systems, roofing components, and fabrication drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Good attention to detail, accuracy, and coordination skills.
- Experience in PEB, sheet metal, or industrial roofing projects will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Candidates with hands-on experience in roofing drawings, metal sheet detailing, and fabrication/shop drawings will be given preference.
