We are seeking an innovative and dedicated DP Physics Teacher to join our Diploma Programme team. The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity about the physical world and help students develop conceptual understanding through inquiry, experimentation, and data-driven learning. The role involves facilitating both theoretical and practical components of the Physics curriculum while encouraging students to connect their learning to real-world phenomena and interdisciplinary contexts.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Diploma Programme Physics curriculum (SL/HL).
- Foster inquiry-based learning through experiments, simulations, and problem-solving activities.
- Guide students in designing and completing their Internal Assessments (IAs) and Extended Essays (EEs) with scientific rigor.
- Maintain laboratory safety standards and ensure proper management of lab equipment and resources.




- Integrate technology and digital simulations to support conceptual understanding.
- Assess student progress using IB rubrics and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to connect Physics with other DP subjects (e.g., Math, Computer Science).
- Participate actively in IB training, moderation, and continuous career development.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Physics or a closely related discipline.
- Teaching certification (B.Ed.) or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience teaching senior secondary Physics (IB/IGCSE experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of experimental design, lab procedures, and data interpretation.
- Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
- Passion for scientific inquiry and experiential learning.
