Young Edsplorer is an experiential travel and education company specialising in domestic and international travel, educational tours, group travel and customised travel experiences .

We are looking for a Domestic Travel Operations Executive who has strong hands-on experience in managing domestic travel operations and can independently coordinate trips from planning through execution.

About the Role The ideal candidate should have 2–3+ years of experience in domestic travel operations , with practical exposure to group travel operations .

Experience handling FIT, GIT and Domestic MICE will be a strong advantage.

The candidate should be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, coordinating with vendors, handling travel logistics and ensuring smooth end-to-end execution of trips.

Key Responsibilities 1. Domestic Travel Operations

- Handle end-to-end operations for domestic travel bookings and trips.
- Plan and coordinate transportation, accommodation, meals, activities and other travel requirements.
- Prepare and verify operational details, confirmations and travel documents.
- Ensure all arrangements are confirmed well in advance of departure.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution.

2. Group Travel Operations

- Manage operations for GIT and group travel bookings .
- Coordinate group transportation, hotels, sightseeing, activities and other services.
- Handle rooming lists, passenger details, meal requirements and group-specific arrangements.
- Coordinate with tour leaders, vendors and destination partners.
- Ensure smooth execution of group movements.

3. FIT Operations

- Handle operational requirements for FIT bookings .
- Coordinate customised itineraries based on client requirements.
- Manage hotel, transport, sightseeing, activities and other travel components.
- Ensure accurate confirmations and timely communication.

4. Domestic MICE

- Coordinate domestic MICE movements and group requirements.
- Work on customised itineraries, hotel arrangements, transportation and activities.
- Coordinate with vendors and destination partners for MICE requirements.
- Support the team in executing events, conferences, incentive trips and corporate group movements.

5. Vendor Management

- Coordinate with hotels,



transporters, activity providers, restaurants, guides and local suppliers.
- Negotiate rates and operational terms wherever required.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Ensure vendors deliver services as confirmed.

6. Itinerary & Costing Coordination

- Prepare and coordinate domestic travel itineraries.
- Work on quotations, costing and operational feasibility.
- Ensure itineraries are commercially viable and operationally executable.
- Coordinate with the sales team for itinerary modifications and client requirements.

7. On-Ground Coordination

- Coordinate with destination teams and vendors during live trips.
- Handle last-minute operational changes and unforeseen situations.
- Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
- Ensure a smooth experience for clients and travellers.

8. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain accurate booking records, confirmations, passenger details and vendor information.
- Ensure timely updates of operational trackers and internal systems.
- Maintain proper documentation for every booking/group.
- Prepare post-trip operational reports wherever required.

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Travel Arrangements and Travel Management to handle bookings, itineraries, and on-ground operations.
- Candidates should possess skills in Travel Consulting to advise schools and families on suitable domestic travel options and program logistics.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with schools, parents, students, and vendors.
- Relevant experience in educational travel, tourism operations, or hospitality is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with office productivity tools and booking platforms.
- Graduate degree in any discipline; specialization in tourism, hospitality, or education-related fields is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel within India for program coordination and on-ground support




- 2–3+ years of hands-on experience in domestic travel operations.
- Strong experience in domestic travel planning and execution .
- Prior experience handling Group Travel / GIT will be a strong advantage.
- Experience managing FIT operations .
- Experience in Domestic MICE will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of domestic destinations, hotels, transportation and travel suppliers.
- Strong vendor coordination and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple bookings/groups simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, especially during peak travel periods.
