About the Role

Our client, a leading Big4 firm, is seeking an experienced and energetic Director to join its Cyber Risk & Compliance practice. The role requires deep expertise in Technology Risk, IT Assurance, Internal Controls and Regulatory Compliance. The Director will lead client engagements, drive business growth, develop senior client relationships, manage large teams and deliver high-quality advisory services across industries.

Key Responsibilities

Client Leadership & Relationship Management

- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with C-suite stakeholders, Audit Committees, CIOs, CISOs, CFOs and Internal Audit leaders.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on technology risk, governance, compliance and internal controls.
- Lead strategic discussions with client executives and identify opportunities for value-added advisory services.
- Support business development – proposals, client presentations and practice growth initiatives.

Engagement Leadership

- Independently lead multiple large-scale engagements from planning through execution and reporting, maintaining quality and profitability.
- Provide subject matter expertise across SOX ITGC & IT Application Controls, SOC 1 / SOC 2, IT Internal Audits, IT Risk Assessments, IT Governance Reviews, Internal Controls Optimization,



Technology Compliance Programs, ERP Controls Reviews (SAP, Oracle, Workday) and Cyber & Technology Risk Advisory.
- Review engagement deliverables for compliance with professional standards.

Practice Development & People Leadership

- Grow the Technology Risk practice through capability building, new offerings and thought leadership.
- Lead, mentor and develop high-performing teams across multiple locations; act as Performance Manager and Career Counselor.
- Manage resource planning, utilization and team development.

Candidate Profile

- 15–21 years of relevant experience in Risk Consulting, Technology Risk, IT Assurance, IT Audit or Risk Advisory.
- Big4 / leading consulting firm background strongly preferred.
- Strong hands-on and leadership experience in SOX ITGC / ITAC, SOC 1 / SOC 2, Internal Controls, IT Internal Audit and Regulatory Compliance.
- Working knowledge of COBIT, COSO and risk frameworks; ERP controls (SAP, Oracle, Workday).
- Exposure to emerging technology risks – Cloud, Cybersecurity, AI and Digital Transformation.
- Proven track record of managing large engagements, senior client relationships and distributed teams.
- Exceptional executive presence, commercial acumen and communication skills.

Qualifications

- Mandatory: Active US CPA (Certified Public Accountant) License
- Mandatory: CISA
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
- Preferred: CISSP, CRISC, CIA, CGEIT, MBA.
