Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Industry: Conveyor Systems & Material Handling Equipment

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Design Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing mechanical drawings, fabrication drawings, 3D models and Bills of Materials (BOM) for conveyor systems and material handling equipment.

Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare 2D drawings using AutoCAD and 3D models using CATIA.
- Prepare fabrication, part and assembly drawings for conveyors and material handling equipment.
- Read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings and dimensions.
- Prepare detailed fabrication drawings with dimensions, tolerances and material specifications.
- Prepare and maintain BOM (Bill of Materials).




- Understand fabrication processes such as cutting, drilling, welding, bending and machining.
- Coordinate with production and fabrication teams to resolve drawing-related issues.
- Modify drawings according to design changes and production requirements.
- Assist senior engineers in developing conveyor layouts, structures, supports and mechanical components.

Required Skills

- Working knowledge of CATIA and AutoCAD .
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of fabrication drawings and dimensioning.
- Basic understanding of BOM preparation and material identification.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel.
- Interest in conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
- Positive communication, teamwork and learning skills.
