Role & responsibilities

3D Modelling & Assembly Design

- Develop 3D models and complete structural assemblies using SolidWorks or Creo.
- Identify and resolve design clashes or interference issues.

Drawing Preparation

- Prepare detailed manufacturing and fabrication drawings.
- Develop assembly drawings, component drawings and BOMs.
- Ensure drawings are accurate and suitable for production.

Design Validation

- Check dimensions, tolerances and component compatibility.
- Ensure designs meet structural requirements and project specifications.
- Modify designs based on technical feedback and site requirements.

Production Coordination

- Coordinate with production and fabrication teams for design implementation.
- Resolve design-related manufacturing and assembly issues.

Design Improvement





- Optimize designs for material utilization, cost and manufacturability.
- Ensure adherence to engineering standards and quality requirements.

Requirements

Qualification

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

2 - 5 years of relevant experience in design engineering, preferably in solar mounting

Skills Required

- SolidWorks or Creo 3D modelling and assembly.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication drawings.
- Understanding of structural components, fitment and tolerances.
- BOM preparation and drawing interpretation.
- Problem-solving and coordination skills.
