Job Summary

Responsible to deploy Group EHS strategy, Plans &

- Policies in plant to ensure safe, sustainable and compliant work place with EHS first culture among employees.

Key Responsibilities

Policy Deployment

- Ensure the implementation of Group strategic EHS initiatives in plant.

- Improve the processes continually inline with Global and statutory changes.

Workplace

- Drive conservation of resources in plant - air, water, energy etc. inline with Group goal and objectives

- Drive the carbon footprint reduction and green initiatives in plant inline with Group goal and objective.

- Ensure to do regular EHS Gemba to observe the environmental issues/ facts in plant.

- Drive environmental incident free operations to ensure business continuity in plant.

- Ensure certification of plant as per ISO 14001 and regular updation of all documentations periodically to meet the requirement.

- Ensure to monitor the Raw water consumption, food waste data, Carbon foot prints, ETP/ STP discharge, waste management etc.

Health &
- Safety

- Ensure the implementation of BBS (Behaviour Based Safety) activities

- Ensure to do regular EHS Gemba to observe the H&
- S issues/ facts in plant.

- Ensure to drive incident risk free climate to protect employees, assets to ensure business continuity in plant.

- Ensure employee health by addressing and improving occupational health/ ergonomics related matters.





- Ensure certification of plants for ISO 45001 and regular updation of all documentations periodically to meet the requirement.

- Ensure to conduct regular health checkup of employees.

- Ensure to update the UA/ UC/ NM status &

- EHS web application on regular basis.

- Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of all fire fighting equipments & first aid facilities.

Compliance

- Ensure compliance to all applicable EHS related laws and regulations in plant.

- Ensure to drive regular compliance with GEMBA/ Audit observations, legal compliance, HIRA &
- AIA etc.

Talent Management

- Ensure the celebration of group level EHS Promotional Events (Safety Week, Fire day &
- Environment Day celebration etc.)

- Lead training and awareness on EHS amongst all employees in plant.

- Ensure the implementation and deployment of all shared EHS best practices, knowledge and lessons learnt horizontally .

- Ensure the implementation of group EHS Reward &

- Recognition policies

Required Qualifications &

- Experience

PG Diploma in Industrial Safety, preferably with Certification as Internal Auditor and other specialized courses in EHS field.; 5 + Year of Experience in EHS

- Proficiency in local language is must
