Job Title: Data Tester

About the Role

We are looking for a Data Tester / Data QA Engineer responsible for validating data pipelines, data products, and AI-enabled solutions. The role involves designing and executing test cases, performing data quality validations, regression testing, and validating data products across Snowflake, dbt, and AWS-based environments.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and execute test cases and automated tests for data pipelines and data products.

· Validate Snowflake and dbt-based data pipelines to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

· Test and validate AWS-based data pipelines using services such as AWS Glue, Lambda, and Airflow.

· Execute regression testing for each product/release and ensure identified defects are properly logged, tracked, and assigned to the respective owners.

· Perform data quality checks including data freshness, volume, completeness, and reconciliation.

· Validate AI-enabled data products against defined and governed business measures.

· Identify, investigate, document, and track data defects and inconsistencies.

· Collaborate with Data Engineers,



Developers, Product Teams, and other stakeholders to resolve data quality and pipeline issues.

· Support continuous improvement of data testing processes and automation frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Hands-on experience in Data Testing / Data QA / ETL Testing.

· Strong experience validating Snowflake and dbt-based data pipelines.

· Experience testing AWS data pipelines, preferably using Glue, Lambda, Airflow, or similar technologies.

· Good understanding of SQL for data validation and reconciliation.

· Experience with automated testing frameworks for data or ETL pipelines.

· Experience performing data quality checks, including freshness, volume, completeness, and reconciliation.

· Exposure to Snowflake Cortex AI or other AI-powered data solutions.

· Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other Business Intelligence platforms.

Nice to Have

· Experience working with AI-enabled data products.

· Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or other regulated industries.

· Understanding of data governance and governed business metrics/measures.

· Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
