Job Title: Data Network Engineer - Cisco (E1)

Experience: 6 to 10 Years

Location: Chennai / Hyderabad

We are seeking a skilled Data Network Engineer (Cisco) with 6-10 years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in Cisco networking technologies, routing, switching, network security, and troubleshooting complex network environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure, and manage Cisco-based LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Data Center networks.
- Implement and support Cisco routers, switches, wireless controllers, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot network incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Manage network security policies, ACLs, VPNs, and segmentation.
- Perform network upgrades, patching, and capacity planning activities.




- Work with cross-functional teams for infrastructure deployments and migration projects.
- Create and maintain network architecture diagrams and operational documentation.
- Support incident, problem, and change management processes.

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Routing & Switching.
- Expertise in TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, STP, VLANs, HSRP/VRRP.
- Experience with Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, ISR/ASR series devices.
- Knowledge of Cisco Wireless solutions and network security concepts.
- Experience in Firewall technologies (Cisco ASA/Firepower preferred).
- Hands-on experience with VPN, NAT, QoS, Load Balancing, and Network Monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of SD-WAN and Software Defined Networking concepts is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
