We’re looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join us

? Location: Remote – India

? Time Zone: Budapest / Recent York overlap

? MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS

? Strong hands-on Python + SQL

? Production ETL/ELT pipeline development at scale

? Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow and dbt

? Experience with Databricks, BigQuery, Snowflake, or equivalent data platforms

? Spark experience preferred

? Data quality, testing, monitoring, and production reliability

? Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar tools

? CRUCIAL SKILLS

- Python + SQL
- ETL/ELT pipeline development

⚠️ IMPORTANT

This role requires strong hands-on experience building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines. Candidates should be comfortable working with large-scale data processing, pipeline orchestration, data transformations, quality checks, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Experience with AI coding assistants is also an important requirement.
