1. Post-Handover & Warranty Execution: Oversee and resolve all process equipment technical challenges, structural deficiencies, and mechanical claims raised by industrial clients during the Defects Liability Period (DLP).
2. Cross-Functional Troubleshooting: Interface actively with internal Engineering, Procurement, and Site Construction divisions to address root causes of equipment performance bottlenecks or design deviations.
3. Vendor & Subcontractor Alignment: Collaborate closely with global component vendors and sub-suppliers to enforce technical warranties, managing complex material supply chains for quick field intervention.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Production Engineering is highly preferred.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 7 to 8+ years of technical support or service operations management experience focused on heavy process equipment (e.g., pressure vessels, heat exchangers, distillation columns, or boilers).
- Contractual Literacy:
Demonstrated understanding of standard commercial frameworks and international EPC contract structures (e.g., FIDIC terms) concerning process performance parameters and warranty remedies.
- Enterprise Systems: Practical operational mastery of standard ERP systems and modern service desk ticketing architectures.
Key Competencies & Technical Skills
1. Technical Comprehension: High capability to interpret complex engineering schematics, P&IDs; (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and mechanical assembly details.
2. Commercial & Strategic Acumen: Superior conflict-resolution and commercial negotiation capabilities for handling high-value asset claims.
3. Stakeholder Communication: Elite verbal and written capability to break down complex technical topics across multi-disciplinary engineering frameworks and global client environments.
