Job Overview

IPCS Global is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Customer Relationship Officer (CRO) to join our team at Vadapalani, Chennai. The candidate will be responsible for counselling prospective students, handling course enquiries, following up with leads, and driving student admissions. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in the EdTech industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and parents regarding courses, training programs, and career opportunities.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable courses based on their career goals.
- Handle incoming enquiries, walk-in leads, and telephonic or online enquiries.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert qualified leads into admissions.
- Achieve monthly sales and student enrollment targets.
- Generate new leads through cold calling, referrals, and online and offline activities.




- Maintain and update student enquiry databases and follow-up records.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students and prospective customers.
- Coordinate with the branch team to improve student enrollment and sales performance.
- Assist in organizing seminars, workshops, webinars, and college visits.
- Prepare regular reports on enquiries, follow-ups, conversions, and admissions.

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the EdTech industry, preferably in admissions, student counselling, educational sales, or customer relationship management.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counselling, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work towards sales targets and deadlines.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with CRM tools.
- A graduate degree is preferred.
