Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Post-Contract & Estimation Engineer to join our construction team at Shivajinagar, Pune. The ideal candidate should have 5–6 years of relevant experience in quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, billing, contract management, and cost control for construction projects.

The candidate will be responsible for managing post-contract commercial activities, preparing accurate estimates, monitoring project costs, and coordinating with project teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure effective commercial management of projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Estimation & Costing

- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates based on drawings and specifications.
- Study tender documents, drawings, technical specifications, and contract conditions.
- Prepare rate analysis for civil construction items, including materials, labour, and equipment.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
- Assist in tender preparation, cost comparison, and submission of commercial proposals.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and project requirements.

2. Post-Contract Management

- Review contract documents, BOQs, work orders, and contractual terms and conditions.
- Prepare and verify running account (RA) bills, client bills, and subcontractor bills.
- Monitor project quantities, costs, and budget variations against approved BOQs.
- Prepare variation statements, extra-item claims, and deviation statements.
- Track and assess additional works, scope changes, and their commercial implications.
- Maintain records of measurements, certifications, bills, and commercial correspondence.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing final bills and closing project accounts.

3. Quantity Surveying & Measurement

- Carry out quantity calculations from structural, architectural, and civil drawings.




- Verify site measurements and quantities executed in coordination with site engineers.
- Prepare measurement sheets and reconciliation statements for materials and quantities.
- Monitor material consumption and identify discrepancies against estimated quantities.

4. Coordination & Reporting

- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Follow up on bill certification, payment status, and outstanding commercial issues.
- Prepare periodic cost reports, budget comparisons, and project commercial updates.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with contractual requirements.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 5–6 years of relevant experience in estimation, quantity surveying, billing, and post-contract management in the construction industry.
- Good knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, rate analysis, and cost estimation.
- Experience in client billing, subcontractor billing, RA bills, variation claims, and final billing.
- Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural drawings.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD; knowledge of estimation or quantity surveying software will be an advantage.
- Good communication, negotiation, analytical, and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience in building construction, civil infrastructure, commercial projects, or industrial construction.
- Practical knowledge of measurement and billing procedures.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving abilities.

Work Location Shivajinagar, Pune, Maharashtra

Experience: 5–6 Years in real estate is mandatory

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
