Surgical

- Perform phacoemulsification cataract surgery independently with foldable IOL implantation.

- Implant premium IOLs (toric, multifocal, EDOF) where indicated.

- Perform SICS and manage complicated or mature cataracts when phaco is not suitable.

- Manage intraoperative complications such as posterior capsule rupture, zonular dialysis and dropped nucleus.

- Maintain surgical quality standards, infection control protocols and outcome records.

Clinical and patient care

- Conduct OPD consultations, including slit-lamp examination, fundus evaluation and diagnosis of common eye conditions.

- Complete pre-operative work-up: biometry review, IOL power calculation, fitness assessment and informed consent.

- Provide post-operative follow-up and manage complications such as raised IOP,



inflammation or CME.

- Counsel patients and families on procedures, lens options, costs and expected outcomes.

- Participate in outreach and screening camps as scheduled.

Team and administration

- Guide and supervise optometrists, OT nurses and technicians.

- Maintain accurate medical records and surgical logs.

- Work with the management team on surgical targets, scheduling and patient experience.

- Follow hospital policies, NABH guidelines (if applicable) and medico-legal requirements.

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per month
