- Responsibilities

- Advanced Vascular &
- Non-Vascular Interventions:

Perform a comprehensive range of vascular and non-vascular oncological interventions, including Transarterial Chemoembolization (TACE), Transarterial Radioembolization (TARE), radiofrequency/microwave ablations, central venous access line placements (PICC, Port-a-cath), and complex image-guided biopsies/drainages.

- Diagnostic Imaging Expertise: Interpret and report high-resolution CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Fluoroscopy scans for cancer staging, treatment response evaluation, and post-procedural monitoring.

- Multidisciplinary Tumor Boards: Actively participate in weekly oncological tumor boards to collaborate with surgical, medical, and radiation oncologists in formulating personalized, minimally invasive treatment strategies.

- Emergency &

- Critical Interventions:

Provide emergency interventional radiology cover for acute oncological complications, including acute gastrointestinal bleeding, biliary tract obstructions, and urinary tract decompressions.

- Protocol &

- Radiation Safety:

Maintain strict radiation safety protocols,



optimize dose-reduction techniques, and uphold high quality control standards in accordance with AERB, NABH, and institutional guidelines.

- Mentorship &

- Academics:

Guide and train junior doctors, radiology residents, fellows, and technologist staff in clinical protocols and advanced procedural techniques.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Education: MBBS, MD in Radiodiagnosis, with a recognized Fellowship in Interventional Radiology (FIVR) or equivalent dedicated training.

- Experience: 5+ years of post-qualification experience in Radiodiagnosis and Interventional Radiology, preferably within a tertiary care hospital or dedicated cancer center.

- Technical Expertise: Proven competence in high-volume vascular/non-vascular interventional oncology procedures and advanced cross-sectional imaging modalities.

- Soft Skills: Exceptional clinical judgment, robust decision-making skills during critical procedures, empathetic patient communication, and a collaborative team mindset.
